Adult Children of Alcoholics & Dysfunctional Families
This Twelve Step, Twelve Tradition program is for people who grew up in dysfunctional homes, who meet to share their experience of growing up in an environment of abuse, neglect, and trauma.

Al-Anon Family Groups
Al-Anon members are people, just like you, who are worried about someone with a drinking problem.

Alcohol Rehab Guide
This online offering is a one-stop resource for questions about addiction and recovery, including the steps of recovery, in-person and outpatient counseling programs, and numerous clinically reviewed articles about addiction and recovery.

Alcoholics Anonymous
Two meetings of AA take place at Christ Church each week. Click here for updates on local meetings in person and online.

  • Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 PM in Parish Hall B - a Closed Step Meeting, customarily attended only by persons who believe they have a problem with alcohol and wish to stop drinking.
  • Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 PM in Parish Hall B and via Zoom - an Open Eleventh Step Meeting welcomes anyone with an interest in alcoholism and recovery, including family members, clergy, and other caregivers. 

Delaware "Hope Line"
The Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health has launched this initiative dedicated to helping Delawareans cope with stress and address behavioral health needs during the pandemic.

Discerning Sobriety
This self-led digital course gives you the tools to reflect on the role of alcohol in your life and connect it to your mind, body, and soul so that you can change your relationship with alcohol and empower your recovery. Discerning Sobriety is for the sober curious, anyone who wants to bring mindfulness into their relationship with alcohol, and people in recovery.

SMART Recovery
Self-Management and Recovery Training (SMART) is a global community of people and families working together to overcome the suffering caused by addiction to drugs or alcohol or to activities such as gambling or over-eating.
