The ARK and SANCTUARY at 9:00 AM
We offer two services at 9 AM on Sunday mornings, created to inspire and serve children and youth. Both services celebrate Holy Communion, and we’ve given each 9 AM service a name to remind us of safe spaces to be gathered in God’s presence.
- “The ARK” in the Chapel—a 30-minute service for young children and their families to worship together
- “SANCTUARY” in the Church—a 40-minute service for older children, youth, and their families
We invite you to try them both, along with our 8 and 10:30 AM services on Sundays and 5 PM service on Saturdays, and discover the one that is best for your family.
Grades 6 & 7
Room 214 in the Education Wing of the Parish Center – 9:45 to 10:30 AM
Rite-13 is for 6th and 7th grade students—a program that celebrates and honors a child's rite of passage into adolescence. The group explores identity, community, and spirituality through discussions and activities. Additional opportunities are planned for fellowship and service projects as the year unfolds.
Grade 8/Confirmation Class
Rectory Annex – 9:45 to 10:30 AM
8th grade youth meet with their teachers and prepare for the rite of Confirmation as the group explores the Bible, church history, the meaning of the sacraments, and the witness of faith. A confirmation retreat is planned for a weekend in February, and additional opportunities are planned for fellowship and service projects as the year unfolds.
Middle School Service Team
Parish Hall A - 5:00 to 6:00 PM
Youth in grades 6-8 are invited to join our new Middle School Service Team—an opportunity to nurture leadership skills and plan and execute a service project for the end of the program year. The team meets monthly on third Sundays from 5 to 6 PM in Parish Hall A and is then invited to share a meal with our high school youth from 6 to 6:30 PM. Grades 9, 10, 11, & 12
Parish Center Kitchen & Room 214 in the Education Wing of the Parish Center – 6:00 to 7:30 PM
Our Senior High Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings and begins with dinner. This informal setting lends itself to active games, meaningful discussion, and exploring our faith together. Additional opportunities are planned for fellowship and service projects as the year unfolds.

Youth Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic
Since 2001 Christ Church has worked with the people of Jalonga and the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic, hosting annual mission trips there. Youth work to broaden their experience and understanding of the people of the Dominican Republic while building lasting and fulfilling relationships with them and with each other. Current 8th through 12th grade youth are invited to participate each year. Our 2026 trip takes place June 17-24.
Chorister Program
Based on the Royal School of Church Music training scheme and standards and emphasizing musicianship, singing technique, and liturgical knowledge, Christ Church's Chorister Program is for children and youth, ages 6-16.
