On third Sundays this summer, let your children Stay and Play after the 9 AM service. Based on Let Grow Play Clubs, kids organize their own games and fun in unstructured, mixed-age, free play. Play is an essential part of children’s development, and when adults get involved, these opportunities are often lost. Stay and Play allows children to choose what to play and who to play with, organize their games, and make their own decisions. While an adult will be present in case of an emergency, they will not be involved in the play that is taking place. This will allow children to work together and have fun without adult intervention.
