Sand and Spirituality
The Parish Life Committee has reserved several opportunities for parishioners to enjoy wonderful fellowship at Memorial House—the Diocese of Delaware’s retreat center in Rehoboth Beach. The former summer home of Felix du Pont, Memorial House has been completely remodeled and provides comfortable, air-conditioned accommodations nestled in the pines section of Rehoboth, two blocks from the beach. Breakfast and dinner are included. For reservations, rates, or more information, contact Kathy Moore.
•Memorial Day weekend, Friday, May 23 – Monday, May 26
•Summer Week, Friday, August 8 – Friday, August 15
(Preference will be given for a full-week reservation. Partial-week stays may be possible depending on space availability.)
•Labor Day weekend, Friday, August 29 – Monday, September 1
Christ Church & Fireworks at the Blue Rocks – June 18
A block of seats has been reserved for Christ Church at Frawley Stadium on Wednesday, June 18. The game starts at 7:05 PM. The price for the reserved seat is $9, and our group will be sitting together for a great game. There will also be a fireworks show after the game. Reserve your place for a great night of fun and fellowship by sending a check made payable to Rufus Miller to 1607 N. Rodney Street, Wilmington, DE 19806 by Sunday, June 1. Order forms are available in the reception area of the Parish House.
