Christ Church, Congregation Beth Emeth, and Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church join forces each fall to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to be distributed to those in need and each spring to provide assistance to foster care youth who have turned 18 and are no longer under the supervision of the Family Court. We combine these projects with a potluck dinner where members of the congregations are able to meet one another as we share a meal, fellowship, and our outreach project. A committee made up of members of each congregation coordinates these events, and all are welcome to join. On November 20, over 200 bags of Thanksgiving food were assembled.
