Christ Church, Congregation Beth Emeth, and Mt. Lebanon Methodist Church join forces each fall to provide Thanksgiving food baskets to be distributed to those in need. We combine this project with a potluck dinner where members of these congregations are able to meet one another as we share a meal, fellowship, and our outreach project. A committee made up of members of each congregation coordinates this event, and all are welcome to join. On Sunday, November 22, 2009 we assembled 200 food baskets to be distributed in our community.
