Monthly Collections

Each month, parishioners are encouraged to bring specific items to church for donation to a worthwhile agency or cause.  Items have included such things as:  non-perishable food for the Food Bank of Delaware; school supplies for children served by Debnam House and First State School; toiletries and towels for Friendship House and Ronald McDonald House; and food, baby items, and cleaning supplies for the Latin American Community Center.  In addition, each December we collect Christmas gifts for needy children through the Advent Doves project.  Any agencies interested in being considered for a collection should contact their Outreach Committee liasion or Gary Jolly.

May Collections

This month, our collections will focus on helping needy children.

Delaware Guidance Services for Children and Youth provides quality mental health services for children, youth, and their families.  They are in need of children's toys, games, books, and clothing for infants through age 18.

Chester Consortium for Creative Community runs a mentoring program for children and teens.  They are in need of school supplies for their program.

Collection bins are set up in the Parish House reception area and in the vestibule of the Parish Center.
