Returning God's Bounty 2008

We are changing the way we talk about our gifts in support of the ministry of our Christian community.  We want to focus on the blessings that God provides for us in all areas of our lives and how we live and celebrate those blessings at Christ Church.  Through commitment of our time, talent, and treasure we return to God from the bounty that God has given to us. 

Our theme for this year’s giving effort is “Glorify God with Your Gifts:  A Community Enriched by Generosity.”  By giving our gifts to glorify God, our gift becomes more than just a financial commitment to Christ Church, it becomes a spiritual manifestation of our love, faith, and thankfulness to God for the great abundance God has provided for us.  By giving generously, we strengthen and support the Christ Church community and reach out beyond our walls to people in the heart of Wilmington and Jalonga, Dominican Republic and to those in need throughout the world.  We are part of the global community of Christians, and through our generosity, they are a part of us.  We are communities enriched.
