Dominican Republic Mission Trip

In November of 2001, Christ Church was invited to join the work of the people of Jalonga and the Episcopal Diocese of the Dominican Republic.  This experience provides a unique time for spiritual enhancement and building of relationships both outside and within the parish of Christ Church.  Each year our youth participate in work camps in the village of Jalonga.  Our youth were there from June 24-July 1, 2017.  In addition, our Solar Panel Team traveled to the DR to install a rooftop solar system on the Community Center/School in Jalonga in order to provide reliable and renewable electricity and water to the community.

The next trip will take place from June 23-30, 2018.
