To be Christian means to be part of community.  That’s the essence of our faith—we belong to God and to one another in Christ Jesus.  Our Newcomers Ministry group extends generous hospitality to our newest members, welcoming and integrating them into our community here at Christ Church.  The group serves as a resource for new members, encourages participation in the life of the parish, and hosts several events throughout the year to facilitate the introduction of new members to clergy, vestry, and other parishioners.  For more information about this group or to assist with this ministry, please contact Sandy Durgin by filling out this contact form.

Newcomers Reception and Tour - March 18

Those new to the Christ Church community are invited to an informal gathering and behind-the-scenes tour of the property on Sunday, March 18. Those interested in the tour should meet in the Commons Room at 3 PM. The reception will begin at 4 PM in the Commons Room. This is an opportunity to ask questions, learn more about Christ Church, and connect with other members and clergy. We will share light refreshments and conversation before moving to a short service of Evening Prayer that will end by 5:30 PM. Come as you are; the attire is casual, and children are welcome.
