Infants, Toddlers, & PreKindergarten

Nursery

Room 104

Sandi Lee and her daughter Kathryn are volunteer nursery coordinators.  They provide an atmosphere of safety, love, and caring that helps infants and toddlers develop a trusting relationship to the church and to God.  Nursery care is provided for the 9 AM service.  During the 10:10 AM Education Hour, parents of infants and young toddlers are encouraged to volunteer to help care for the children.

Toddlers and 2-year-olds

Room 101/102

Learning about God's world and how they fit in is the objective of teaching this age child.  Providing a safe environment and security along with caring teachers gives them a foundation that will support them for the rest of their lives.  This year, they will hear biblical stories that reflect Christian values.  After the story, the children will role-play with the values they are learning.  Simple prayers and songs are also taught.

3- and 4-year-olds (Prekindergarten)

Room 207/208

The typical preschool child is open and receptive to faith.  They understand the concept of God at a basic, fundamental level.  The lessons that they learn during Christian Formation reinforce what they already know instinctively.  They learn about different people in the Bible who exemplify the importance of faith and family.
