Children's Enrichment

Our spiritual commitment to our children and youth is deep at Christ Church. We recognize that as members of the body of Christ, we are responsible for the development of faith in our children and youth. Baptism is the beginning of a life journey of faith. As the needs of each child change during their life, we meet those needs in different ways. We uphold the Children's Charter for the Church, and we strive to adhere to its guidelines. Specifically, the Children's Charter calls us to receive, nurture, and treasure each child as a gift from God. The church is also called to nurture and support families in caring for their children, acting in their children's best interest, and recognizing and fostering their children's spirituality and unique gifts. Finally, in ministry of the child, the church is called to foster community beyond the family unit, in which children and adults know each other by name, minister to each other, and are partners together in serving Christ in the world.

Our Sunday morning schedule during the fall, winter, and spring is as follows:

9:00 AM Worship Hour

• Children 2 and under - child care available in Room 104
• 3- through 8-year-olds - Godly Play on the 2nd floor of the Education Wing in the Parish Center
• Children older than 8 years old - worship in Church with their families
• On the first Sunday of each month, all are in worship with child care available for younger children.

10:00 AM Enrichment Hour

• Children 2 and under - child care available in Room 104
• 3- to 8-year-olds - Godly Play Enrichment in the Chapel
• 3rd through 6th graders - small group curriculum on the 2nd floor of the Education Wing in the Parish Center
• Youth - Journey to Adulthood in Room 214 and the J2A and YAC Youth Rooms
• Adults - options designed by the Adult Enrichment Committee in Parish Hall A
• On the first Sunday of each month, parishioners of all ages join for refreshments during the 10 AM hour.

11:00 AM Worship Hour

• Child care available for young children in Room 104

Minute to Win It Game Night for 3rd-6th Graders - February 11

Come join us for a night of friendly competition as we offer a night of fun and games adapted from the popular TV game show, Minute to Win It. Pizza and snacks will be served. Join in the fun on Saturday, February 11 from 4 to 6:30 PM and win special prizes while testing and showing off your skills. Click here to RSVP.
